‘Saya has been amazing with my dog- I would thoroughly recommend her. She communicates really well, turns up on time and always makes sure the dog stays well cared-for and well-hydrated. My dog can be quite high energy and a bit of a handful but she has had a fantastic way with him- he loves her walks. She has been a huge help and is generally very trustworthy; I always felt sure my dog was in good hands.’ -Tania

‘Saya has been absolutely wonderful with Rupert. Spent so much time gaining his trust as he's quite nervous with new people but they're now the best of friends from the first visit. Can't praise enough how amazing Saya is. Trust worthy and was in contact the whole time she was with him sending lots of updates and pictures. I will certainly be booking again for her to come and visit Rupert:) thank you!’ -Jade

About

Our Goal

Founded by a dedicated animal lover, The Woof Wagon was created from Saya's lifelong love for animals, creativity, and compassion. At The Woof Wagon, every dog is treated with the same love they would receive from their own family. The goal is simple: to provide safe and enjoyable walks that keep dogs healthy and mentally stimulated while giving owners complete peace of mind. We make sure our trust and reliability are one of our top priorities. The business holds Canine First Aid Level 2 certification, is fully insured, and DBS checked, ensuring that every dog is cared for responsibly and professionally.Whether it’s regular daily walks or occasional help when life gets busy, we are proud to provide a new caring dependable local service. We are built on a genuine love for animals, trustworthy relationships with pet owners, and a commitment to everybody's happiness.

Our Transport

Dog transport crates are drilled and securely fitted into our Daihatsu Hijet van. With non-slip foam mat flooring, dogs can sit at ease. This is so we don't compromise comfort or safety. The gap on the bottom right holds all necessary items that we take on our dog walks: emergency first aid kit, spare slip leash, shower, towels, water, treats provided by you or us, etc.

Saya

Hi! I'm Saya, a half-Japanese, 22-year-old who is a big advocate for animal health and wellbeing. I started my business because I personally have a deep interest in the environment. I'm all about being authentic; I think it's a deep part of my culture. I'm respectful, down-to-earth, and honestly quite introverted (until it comes to chatting with animals!)

I've had years of experience around domestic animals. I used to help my grandma's dog grooming salon business in Japan growing up where I was surrounded by dogs! I've also walked reactive dogs, rescue dogs, special needs dogs, seniors, and puppies. Though my purpose is to walk dogs and not train them, I do take precautions and preventative measures to avoid stress on the both of us, often using treats supplied by either you or me as distraction techniques or for recall praise. I hold a Lvl 2 Canine First Aid training so I know how to navigate emergencies.Currently, I own silkie chickens, pondfish, and a Jack Russell who looks suspiciously similar to my logo... If you couldn't have guessed, I'm also an artist who loves being creative. That's why I use human art for my business and picked a quirky little Daihatsu van for dog walking. If you love supporting local businesses, like art, and being quirky like me, we're going to get along!

Stuart

Hi I’m Stuart, Saya’s Dad. I’ve had animals in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with dogs along with plenty of other pets over the years has shaped a real love and respect for animals and their wellbeing. Being around them just feels natural to me, and caring for them has always been something I genuinely enjoy. After years of office work, I’ve finally decided to pursue my real passion of working around nature. There’s nothing more I enjoy than walking through the countryside and spotting wildlife. I’d describe myself as relaxed, down-to-earth, and thoughtful. When walking dogs, I’m always mindful of dog behaviour and wellbeing. I like to keep things stress-free and positive, using gentle hands and rewards to keep walks enjoyable! I’m also not afraid to advocate for your dog’s space and comfort as my biggest priority is safety too.Every dog is treated like one of my own, and I take real pride in making sure they get the care and attention they deserve.
